STARK got a child who used to whine about every single class to never complain once — and we’re about to enter our fifth year, proud to take part in the 10th-anniversary celebration.

「All of it comes down to Teacher Chen’s spark.」

Our first class with Teacher Chen coincided with the pandemic. He proactively mailed a microscope and slides to our home for remote teaching. Our child got into the high school they wanted and still keeps a passion for science — all thanks to Teacher Chen’s spark.

I’m grateful to Teacher Chen and Teacher Lee for their patient guidance in science fairs from junior high through high school. In the end I won the Local Special Award and the MediaTek Merit Award in Engineering (II) at the 62nd Taiwan National Science Fair.

The best part of STARK: every time I pick my child up after class, his eyes light up and he chatters non-stop about what happened — right until he runs out of battery.

My child comes every winter and summer break. Their favorites are the elementary science labs and the 7th-grade biology course — especially the rare dissection class. Learning through play, falling in love with science.

The course design spares no expense, and my child’s ear-splitting recap after class is the best proof of it.

The courses are diverse and varied. Taiwan rarely has experiment-first science courses like this, and the science-fair experience and training simply can’t be found elsewhere. Thank you STARK for keeping my child top of the class!

Since he started your classes, his interest in physics and chemistry has grown so much and his grades have clearly improved. I used to drag him to every class — now he refuses to skip even with a fever, because “today the teacher is doing experiments with us.”
